You now understand why we need goals in our life.. but how do we reach these goals?
Well I can't tell you what will definitely work for you, but I can tell you what I do and suggest some methods for you. Personally, i like to write down my goal/goals so i can physically see them. This can be on a computer, on paper or on a whiteboard/chalkboard etc.It can look like this;

So if you were setting a goal to paint your room, you would write a list of the items you need, plan when you want it done and how you're going to do it. Life goals are important and everybody can choose to set some or live each day at a time.
Some suggestions for you?
If you work some of your goals may be..
Arrive to work 10 minutes early, have more/less days on in a week, etc
If you're a student some of your goals may be..
Attend all classes, complete all assignments with a specific grade in mind, maintain a clean environment at home.
Or if you are a stay at home individual your goals may be..
Start studying/get a job, clean specific areas out, join in exercise, eat healthier etc.
